Festival of Learning

The 2017 Festival of Learning will take place Monday 6 November to Friday 10 November. The theme for this year’s festival is 50 Years of Innovation in Learning and Teaching.

What to look forward to

The Festival of Learning will bring together experts in higher education, industry personnel, alumni, students and Curtin staff from all campuses. The week will be filled with activities and opportunities to learn about innovations in learning and teaching including:

  • Keynote presentations from Associate Professor Matt Bower from Macquarie University on Learning for the future
  • Beauty and the brutalist – visual storytelling
  • A teaching hackathon
  • Live case teachings
  • Indigenous innovations in teaching

A special event will also be held on the Friday to recognise and celebrate the 2017 Curtin Excellence and Innovation in Teaching award and citation winners and Curtin Academy Fellows.
